Custom T-Shirt Diary 1: Elyse is Married!
Congratulations to Elyse and Dan on the beginning of their awesome marriage! Elyse is a friend from Brookline who used to beat me up in the school hallways. But she’s gotten a lot better. She’s become so nice over the years, in fact, that I was invited to her wedding last Sunday on Cape Cod. I met Dan a few years ago and is a great guy who has never once beaten me up.
To help celebrate their wedding I offered my screen printing services to the maid of honor for what was undoubtedly an exciting bachelorette party. Luisa, the maid of honor, and I went back and forth to finally creating a great custom logo design that features a great picture of Elyse on the front. On the back we threw on a cute boat and the date (in case anyone forgot?). Deciding which kind of shirt to buy was a much simpler task. Elyse loves the color purple and I like the American Apparel tri-blend t-shirts. Combine the two and you have the tri-purple v-neck shirt. I printed it with black water-based ink to rave reviews from the ladies.
One of the highlights of the night was a party boat in Boston Harbor. Apparently lots of guys suggested putting “It’s All Over” as a saying on the back of the t-shirt. But knowing Dan and Elyse, it has just begun.
