Real Food Challenge is non-governmental organization based in Providence, RI that promotes sustainable food consumption, with a focus on college and university campuses. It’s a great organization and they had an event to promote good, healthy eating. As part of their gift bag to participants they gave away a very neat t-shirt that we had the privilege of printing.
The t-shirt had an image of three vegetables on the front (carrot, beet and cabbage – I think) and some text on the back. The text was “distressed”, meaning it was manipulated graphically to make it look a little beat up or vintage. This was one of the first jobs involving the distressed look, which requires a lot of fine detail. I was very pleased with how the details turned out – and with the shirt overall. It was printed in black and orange water-based ink on a t-shirt made with organic cotton.
