Custom T-Shirt Diary 25: BHS Cross Country

I’ll admit it – running cross country was hard for me. Volleyball fit my athletic abilities much better. I ran to stay healthy and to see my friends more. I never made varsity so didn’t really get too much one on one time with our head coach, Michael Glennon. But one thing was clear, everyone got better on the team, consistently.

I reached out to Coach Glennon in 2010 about something unrelated to their apparel. But as it turned out, the team had swelled to around 100 participants (!) and they needed a great shirt to wear while dominating the state’s cross country meets. We printed a great moisture-wicking 100% polyester shirt for training, race singlets and a cotton / polyester blend t-shirt as prizes for the team’s “Athlete of the Meet” competition and Seniors.

It was great working with the Brookline athletic teams. I only wish that I could claim any responsibility for the fact that Brookline won Massachusetts State Championship. But all credit goes to the athletes and coaching staff. Congratulations!
