Custom T-Shirt Diary 33: Maple Syrup Project

The Maple Syrup Project is a great local even held in Somerville, MA. Run by Groundwork Somerville, the project involves tapping urban sugar maples. The final event is a two-day marathon in which the sap from those trees is boiled down into the delicious thick concoction we know as maple syrup. It takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup.

It was great to make t-shirts for this event. It was in support of a good cause and the design itself was cute, scenes drawn by a Somerville student.
