Custom T-Shirt Diary 34: Real Food Challenge Summit Series

A year earlier I screen printed Real Food Challenge’s Ivy Summit Series t-shirts. This year I got the call again, but everything had changed. Instead of doing a single summit they were doing five. Needless to say the number of shirts was going up accordingly. In addition, they were holding an open design contest to find the winning t-shirt design – a really fantastic idea in my mind.

Real Food Challenge, of Providence, RI, is an organization which promotes the use of real food on university campuses. Because of their connection to sustainable and environmentally sound food production hey made it clear from the beginning that they were interested in t-shirts which had many of the same qualities. As such, I worked with them to find a great t-shirt that is both made in the USA under fair labor standards and made from organic cotton. This was a great project with an organization I love to work with.
