Every medium’s greatest strength is also its greatest weaknesses. Every form of media is a set of fundamental compromises; one is not “higher” than the others. A painting doesn’t do much, it just sits there on a wall. That’s the best and worst thing about it. Film combines sound, movement, photography, music, acting. That’s the best and worst thing about it. Prose just uses words arranged in linear form to get its point across. That’s the best and worst thing about it, etc.

I’m still trying to figure out the best and worst of screen printing. What are the best and worst qualities of a medium you like working in?
