This Weekend: CrossFit Garage Games

Ok, ok, this is my last thing to do this weekend. But it’s a good one. If you went to Poetically Speaking and the Boston Asian American Film Festival this will be perfect for you. If you didn’t, this will be perfect for you.

On this Saturday and Sunday November 12th and 13th lots (250, count ’em) of fantastic CrossFit athletes (who are even better people) will be competing in the Garage Games New England Finals being held at CrossFit Southie. The competition begins at 9am each day.

Here’s an old blog post about some of the folks who will be competing. I’m hoping to stop by Sunday and check out the competitors from CrossFit Southie, CrossFit Bridgewater, CrossFit Boston, and CrossFit City Line.

If, like most people, you have no idea what CrossFit is, check out the video below. I’ve never done CrossFit but to me it’s personal improvement through team training.
