Custom T-Shirt: Bikeyface
My favorite part of running a business is coming across other awesome businesses and organizations. The most recent example of this is meeting Bekka from Bikeyface. I love biking and Bikeyface is by far my favorite blog on the subject. It combines great line art and witty and practical messages.
I would have never come across this blog, based in Somerville, MA, if Bekka hadn’t contacted me about screen printing her first-ever Bikeyface t-shirts. She pre-sold the tees to her avid fan base.
The t-shirts themselves have some great features. They are American Apparel ringspun cotton tees. The front print is made with black water-based ink, which makes them feel really soft and helps the line art pop off the bright colors behind it. The back print is made with 3M reflective vinyl. It looks grey in the day light. But when direct light hits it, especially at night, the material lights up and becomes a bright silver. Great for safety and increased exposure!
