Rostro de Cristo Custom Volunteer T-Shirts
Rostro de Cristo’s reason for existence is to give to others. The organization draws lay volunteers and retreat participants from the Boston, MA Catholic church to serve among those less fortunate in Ecuador through education, social services, and health projects. We worked with Rostro de Cristo when they wanted to give even more: this time, to their previous volunteers. Volunteers are held in high esteem at Rostro de Cristo and we designed the shirts with these incredible people in mind. We sought to reflect the eye-opening, life-altering experiences they encountered through the organization.
The phrase on the back of the shirt, “Tocando el corazón, camiando tu vida” translates to “Touching the heart, changing your life”. We adapted the artwork Rostro de Cristo already used, and added it to supersoft ringspun cotton tees made in New York by Royal Apparel. The imagery beneath the phrase illustrates the union between a volunteer, a local child, and the church of Ecuador that brought them together.
As we do with all of our projects, we took great care and pride in designing a shirt that would communicate what Rostro de Cristo represents and remind volunteers of the positive actions they took to change the lives of others (and their own).
