Feb 2020 Price Increase Announcement

Happy February,

Thanks to Punxsutawney Phil’s prediction, we’re eagerly anticipating an early spring!  We do have to admit that here in Vermont, most of us are also hoping for a few more good snow storms before spring warmth melts it all away.  Spring will also bring a change at Webster Ink: a small screen printing price increase. Place orders before April 1st to get 2019 prices!

Last month the whole Webster Ink crew participated in a day-long retreat to create a vision for 2020.  One action item that felt important to all was making wages more livable for all employees. To afford this goal, we plan on increasing our screen printing fee by 4% annually on April 1st.  The screen printing fee is a portion of the overall quote, which also often includes apparel costs and a set-up fee. This means our quotes will be going up by significantly less than 4%, AND we will be able to afford an annual cost of living raise for all staff.  

The 2020 screen printing price matrix can be viewed below.  If you’d like to place an order before this change, please get in touch soon.  The change will be effective April 1st.

2020 will be an exciting year at Webster Ink.  Our production team has been busy this winter – often a slow season for screen printing.  We’ve also been diving into the strategic planning work that has evolved out of January’s retreat.  We look forward to sharing more of these updates and stories with you in our next newsletter.
