COTS Walk 2020 Goes Virtual

“Social distancing is physical, not emotional”

The 2020 COTS Walk t-shirt was the first job we processed during the COVID-19 shut down.  It was one of the first jobs completed after starting the press back up again last week.  We are grateful to clients like COTS (Committee on Temporary Shelter) who patiently stuck with us through these unusual times.  We worked together through disruptions and hiccups, producing a beautiful shirt for all virtual walkers who met their fundraising goal. 

We were impressed to see how COTS pivoted, transforming their huge annual fundraiser into a virtual walk.  They demonstrated that it is possible to raise public awareness about homelessness and to raise money to support COTS shelters and services even though we couldn’t gather in person this year.  In their words, “Social distancing is physical, not emotional.” They’ve raised $225,815 of their $235,000 goal so far.
