Lilac Sunday

Lilac Sunday is an annual event at Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum in Jamaica Plain, MA. It takes place every Mother’s Day and is always one of the highlights of the year. The lilacs are in bloom, spring has arrived, and the beautiful Arboretum is full of families.

Since 2010 Evan Webster Ink has screen printed their annual t-shirts and tote bags. People love the Lilac Sunday t-shirts. Because the design each year is unique, many treat them as collector items. They come to the event wearing last year’s (or maybe a t-shirt from 12 years ago!) design and pick up a couple more to add to their collection. Each t-shirt is a memento that helps people remember a time, place, and feeling.

In addition to all that, the quality of the artwork, t-shirt, and screen printing make the tees something people can wear every week, not just once a year.
