Dye Sublimation

Dye sublimation still blows us away. It’s truly the best way to make high-end performance apparel for a few reasons.

The most amazing thing is that dye sublimation, as the name implies, is a dye not an ink. This means it penetrates the fibers it is applied to (as opposed to sitting on top of them). For polyester moisture-wicking fabric this means that all that amazing cooling technology can still do its job to keep you comfortable while working out. The fabric is still breathable, even though it has a design all over it!

Also, the images are vibrant and unlimited colors can be used for the same cost as just one. The downsides are that dye sublimation can only be used on light shades of polyester fabric.
